Duties:

Human Resources:

Full Job Description/Summary

This position is to perform in-depth elevator surveys, modernization surveys, maintenance inspections making note of items to be addressed. Write proposals. Write reports with regards to observations made in the field, recommendations for upgrades / modernization, description of equipment, etc. Reports include letters, VSA standard reports and specifications.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with clients. Handle technical and other matters and field work, as assigned. Support others at meetings where technical and Code issues are discussed. Attend and participate in office scheduling and modernization meetings to help keep modernization and installations on track. Attend night meetings as necessary.

 

Provide estimates for repairs and modernizations as needed. Review and comment on invoices and proposals from elevator contractors and review scope of work as well as equipment in questions. Oversee Installation / Modernization projects as assigned. Make weekly or biweekly visits where applicable, reviewing submitting and drawings for Code and specification compliance, approving payments and witnessing tests.

Follow-up on all field-related work to see that all installation and modernization's come to a timely completion and VSA continues its good reputation. Verify and determine elevator acceptance tests and punch lists. You may need to witness Annual and Five-year test when at sites for Modernization monitoring.

 

All paperwork, including time sheets, to be submitted on a timely basis. You will be responsible for email correspondence and phone calls.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Use Autodesk/Revit to prepare scaled, detailed engineering drawings of all forms of vertical transportation.

 

Assist in developing elevator system design concepts.

Perform/Record field surveys using precision measuring equipment.

Assist Customers/Clients/Vendors with technical questions/issues.

Perform continuous improvement activities related to internal process and projects.

Work to automate our Engineering/Drafting system and data base.

 

Requirements:

Proficient knowledge of Autodesk products, knowledge of Revit a plus.

This service industry role will oversee the functions of Field, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Office Administration and ensures that the company’s organizational structure, policies, operations, and people enable the company to maximize financial results. This position reports directly to the CEO and the CFO. The salary range is $150,000 and up, commensurate with experience, per year plus bonus.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the organization and work closely with the CEO and CFO to drive growth within the organization.

  2. Manage the onboarding of incoming staff members to fill key roles.

  3. Manage and motivate the team to achieve full personal potential, participate in new sales, maximize existing business opportunities, and achieve superior customer satisfaction through thoughtful, goal-driven leadership.

This position is for witnessing safety tests on elevators, escalators and moving walks. An inspector of VSA will witness technical inspections of construction, alteration, and safety of elevators, escalators, and other related devices for compliance with the NYC Construction Code along with other pertinent laws and rules.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

You will be responsible to explain and enforce laws and rules relevant to the field. When issuing deficiencies, you will also be responsible to advise the recipient of the nature of the violating condition. You will fill out paperwork and/or work with an app on a phone or tablet to process all inspection results.

 

You will be responsible to answer emails, complaints for conformity to ensure safe and reliable operation of elevators, escalators, and their components.

 

You are responsible to have knowledge of maintaining, installing, inspections, tests, alterations, electrical repairs, and mechanical equipment, such as elevator cabs, doors, rails, cables, ropes, sheaves, governors, bumpers, safeties, overloads, relays, door control, step treads, and associated elevator and escalator control equipment.

Comfortable working with all levels of staff; from executives to department heads to providing end-user desktop support. Must be self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of various issues from beginning to end. A positive, proactive, customer-support approach to IT support required.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

· Manage Various Technical Projects while reporting to the CEO and CFO.
